3D Warehouse Country?

Currently if I search: “table”, I can access English models of tables.
If I search “Tavolo”, I see Italian tables.
This is useful because it allows me to find models that are tailored to different tastes.
Now with the new 3D Warehouse, I have to select a country.
1: Will choosing one country only limit me to a portion of the 3D warehouse (for that country), or is the whole of the 3D warehouse available?
2: If I choose a country, am I able to change this later on, or is my selection “locked” in.

I think the intent of filling those fields in the user's profile is to help them filter out content that wouldn't be needed. It doesn't appear that you have to fill those fields, though. They aren't required. If you do fill them and decide to change them later, you could always edit your profile. When you edit your profile you can also indicate the sorts of models you're interested in to help reduce the clutter that would otherwise be presented to you. I would like to see a filter to eliminate the models/components that are poorly made and need work to be usable.
