Here are some new pictures

Fantastic piece.
-
Wow. what a masterpiece! Of course I love that model! German trams are the best!
-
The under frame.
-
Should be on the finest modeling thread! It would be great to have a gallery just of pictures of all the best trams, trains and buses done in SketchUp. All labors of love.
-
Jo-Ke is right, this is a masterpiece ! - love it! also the detail-"breakup" is cool!
@PBACOT: this "Best Tram & Trains"-idea is a good one! at least 2 "Presenters" already occur to me -
Here are 2 photos, of several, after which I created the model.

Martini don't know why the jpg-links don't work. You have to copy the links manualy into your browser (without the url-tags).

Hi Martin,
Thanks for the links. I will work through it.Greetings from Germany, Jena

Hi Matthias (kolibri69),
in my previous post i set a link to a drawing of a pole/pylon. I think the pole could be a good addition to your tram. Yesterday I made a quick sketchup Modell of this pole and a Twilight render. If you don't mind i show the result in this thread.
In the moment i don't know, how the wire was attached to the pole.
If i disturb your thread, i will delate my entry.

Hi Martin,
looks good.
Good websites for the search are
https://archive.org
with the keywords:
"Strassenbahn, elektrisches Bahnen, Bahnmotoren" english "tram, electric trains, rail engines"
for example:
Elektrische Strassenbahnen by Zachrcias, Johannes 1903
https://archive.org/details/bub_gb_UvQNAAAAYAAJ/page/n6Die Bahnmotoren für Gleichstrom. Ihre Wirkungsweise, Bauart und Behandlung. Ein Handbuch für Bahntechniker, Müller 1903
https://archive.org/details/bub_gb_knA5AAAAMAAJ/page/n3and the side of the TU Darmstadt with their digital stock of historical books on the railway industry

Hello Mathias,
thank you for the interesting links. After some researche i got a idea how to attach the wire to the pole. I found your modell at the 3dwarehous and used it for a render with wire. Thanks for sharing.
