      Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has a model of a chair like this before I model from scratch.

      Canova_Task_Chair_A_logo2.jpg

There are 3ds files available but seriously heavy on geometry when I import.

Doesn't need to be exact match but something as close as possible would be good.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

      Cheers,
      Steve

You're right. It's heavy. I would erase half the chair and all of the unneeded internal geometry, then run Thom Thom's CleanUp3 as well as Soften/Smooth and then copy the remaining components, flip along the red direction and move them together with the first half. Unfortunately I don't have time right now to clean up the model for you.

Hi Dave R - Thanks for the tips.
          I'll download ThomThom's CleanUp3 tonight.
