      Hi!

What would you guys think about a plugin that would extend "Hide rest of model" setting? Precisely: you could show only direct "parent" of active component, so only the component nesting the active one, and hide rest of model at the same time. This would let you work on your active component, seeing only the closest context, not entire model.

Not sure I understand how it would work.
Let's say you have three grouped boxes that are made into a group.
What would be shown since the "parent" only is a group with subgrouped geometry inside?
The parent doesn't contain any geometry.

I imagine that if one group with one of the boxes is active, the other grouped boxes (inactive) would be shown as well, because they're also children of the big group that contains all three boxes. Anything in the model that's out of the parent group, would be hidden.

I think such feature could be helpful in many situations with complex models where groups contain grouped groups etc.
