Can someone direct me to a Plugin (an RBZ, not RB) that has BASIC, useful drawing tools such as Mirroring, Filleting, Extending, Drawing a Line at an Angle...you know? The stuff that actually works like most of us do.

Perhaps a better way to describe what I'm seeking is that I am, yet another, former AutoCAD User who has been extremely productive in that universe, but struggle with the way SketchUp functions when it comes to laying out drawings. I will evolve, but need some good utilities to help the process.

And why is it so hard to find this stuff?

      Thank You.

Search in the PluginStore for examples - there are many.
        https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore
It is easy to find RBZs of hundreds of Plugins there...

Flip [Mirroring] is built into SketchUp [context-menu] - my Mirror tool also works more like AutoCAD's
Basic Filleting is built into newer SketchUp versions [Arc+click], there are also Filleting Plugins [like my 2d-toolset's].
If you want 3d-filleting of corners Fredo has suitable 'rounding/chamfering' tools...
Extending lines is also possible using Move, but again my 2d-tools includes some Trim/Extend/Adjust tools.
You can set a guide-line at any angle using the Protractor tool, then draw along that.
Or use the Rotate tool on and existing edge to rotate that.
If it's a set of survey points and you want to input point/angle[bearing]/length there are plugins to do that - I don't think they are in the PluginStore, but search the Plugins forum for posts discussing this with external links - a very quick search brought up this: http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/rld/plugin_details.php?id=434

There's also a long thread discussing "plugins for architecture" which you might find helpful and has many links off...

I would suggest TT ThomThom's edge tools, specifically the tool to offset a single edge on a face. More CAD-like. In TIG's extrusion tools I use extrude edges by vector a lot. Not sure if this has an AutoCAD equivalent but it seems like a tool that should be a basic SketchUp function for building up surfaces from existing geometry--in a simple-to-use fashion.

            About .rb / .rbz

Zip the .rb , rename it in .rbz : you have an .rbz ! πŸ˜‰

a free zipper if you have not : https://www.7-zip.org
(maybe prefer zip than 7z for mor compatibility...
