[Plugin] ClothWorks v1.8.0 - 28 Apr 2024
-
That would be fantastic but that is work of the developer Anton, for the moment I use the current possibilities of the plugin.
-
... for you it's just "cooking" - for me it's pure fascinating magic and I'm amazed like a child
A great idea and excellently realized !!
btw, I prefer Spaghetti Arrabiata -
Thanks!! When I finish the "cooking" I will upload the final plate.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing the freshly shaved Parmesan and the enormous pepper mill grinding away.
-
You will have to wait , I'm going to travel some days ( holidays in Spain), until the Wednesday I don't back.
-
...enjoy your vacation days - hmm, somehow i have the feeling to see perfectly rendered Tapas in a pan next week
-
Jejeje, you know Spain, the “Tapas” is Spanish fast-food typical, each región has a great varieties of different Tapas.

Seems miracle to me and can not figure out how do you make such a scene out of this plugin! Tutorial please!

The process it's very easy, see the images.
Spaghettis
Fried Tomato

Nice and easy explanation, Oxer...!
How did you make the curves for the spaghetti...?
Another plugin and then pipe along path or...? -
The curves are created with Freehand tool over a plane XY then apply Fredo's Tool> Curvizard> Smooth Contours, so you can create many curves and place them in different levels of Z axis. Remember to give the same thickness (Cloth property) that the spaghetti will have and activate Auto-Collision.
While the simulation is running you can relocation the curves like you want simply select a curve and drag it.Tip: Scale all object x10 so the simulation is more fast when you finish, rescale them to the original size.
-
Very smart use, Oxer! Thanks
-
You're welcome!
Waiting another different uses for ClothWorks. -
Hi, nice add on but I am not paying $30 dollars just to use it once in a while. Great for designers not an average Joe like me.
P.S. If they make a free version like in a previous Sketchup some years ago, let me know.
-
The basic version is free Luisfon. The price tag only applies if you need all the pro features.

Hi Anton
Sorry to contact you publicly in the forum..
I purchased Clothworks yesterday, I received the receipt from PayPay but I have not received a licence file. I was unsure who to contact but I don't have sufficient privileges on this forum to send a PM yet.
Do you issue licenses or is it through SketchUcation? Many Thanks

Hi Rob,
Have you checked your "Spam" folder at your email client? Sometimes some over sensitive spam filters put the email with the attached license there.
-
yeah I did, been through everything in case I trashed it by mistake. Lots emails from nice people offering me money and pharmaceuticals in my junk but no license file.
-
Thanks for creating this plugin, I would like to be able to slow down the tuts though.
