19th Century Aga.

My first home was in the original Falcon estate in Battersea, London. Some of the buildings in my road were developed by Alfred Heaver Between about 1865 and 1875, he later developed the Heaver estate just north of Clapham junction but was grander. Heaver road was developed for low income rent with four rooms two scullery's and two kitchens. Each room would house one family who would share the kitchen and scullery facilities. I decided to model this property as it still stands and I have a great deal of memories from being a very small child there. The 'range' cooker is a facsimile but without details I have gone for a generic look rather than absolute authenticity. These homes are now mostly subdivided into two flats but despite having reasonable depth are no more than 18 feet wide. I believe the ranges which remained while I was there have been removed, probably for refurbishment and sale. The range will be altered and adjusted and I will find a really good cast iron texture one of these days. The property is proving difficult as frankly, there are too many levels to make real sense of.

This turned out good! What an interesting subject.
Will you post more views?
