Create a network of components

Hi guys, i’m new in Sketchup, and i’m trying to create a simple thing. I have a component that i would like to duplicate following 2 axis (x and y) to create a checkerboard of this component.
Here is 2 photos of what i have and what i would like to have using dynamic components
Do you know how i could do it ?

Hi mgsvinc, import the attached "dynamic granite tile floor" component (3D Warehouse model) into a new file as an example of a dynamic component & it may give you some insight into how to get your "component" to copy or replicate on the x/y plane. You could also search 3D warehouse for "dc components", download and then select it and open component attributes to see how it works. Or you could upload your file and someone might do it for you if they have the time.
