Movin' on...

I keep forgetting to show you the back view.

That's quite some place you have there. Small but efficient.

I get 94 gigs and unlimited phone for $88 a month in Australia.
Great design enjoy the freedom mate -
Finally got my deck built and I love it, makes such a difference.
All modular and can be dismantled to man size pieces for transportation.
Now to see if the canopy is strong enough to take the winds around here. -
Love it. Great style!
-
Bloody cracking stuff.

I like this nice landscape ! - where are you?

No, thank the gods. In fact nearly feeling guilty. We've had almost 50mm of rain since last week. We needed it. Tho' not as badly as needed up North. How is your situation in Qld?
There hasn't been a fire thru here for 60 years, so when it inevitably happens, it's going to be a doozy. We are well prepared, with a plan A and a plan B. (Plan B is run away).
Cheers.
PS: Just watched the news, had no idea the fires were that bad in Queensland. Hope you and yours are ok.
-
Thanks mate. I'm in North Queensland and there are fires all around here... an eerie day today.
Not as bad as the south east of QLD though; those poor buggers have may more established flora that is really taking a hit right now.Just terrible what mother nature serves up when she's pissed.

Digs are coming along Baz, nice work. Looks like you have everything optimized in the space department I am sure you will check 3 times for underpass headroom :). I know it does not help you but perhaps others. I am with Vodaphone so coverage in the sticks may not be good, but I have no landline so use pocket wifi. I get 90 Gigs for $54 a month, and pay 30 for unlimited use on my phone which also has 4 gigs included so i get 94 gigs with unlimited calls for $94 a month.

Thanks Liam, funny you should say check 3 times.
I did, and still went empirical anyway.
IE: I set the canopy frame up on temp posts and walked under it a few times.
SU gave me a good benchmark, (about 20 mm low.)BTW: I am 6'4' and 3/4", 195cm.

Can I ask this fairly select group of posters about some stuff?
As in:
I have a large number of skips from my work since SU V5 which I don't wish consigned to oblivion.
So, I want to give away all my skps and designs.I am thinking loading perhaps 100 skips somewhere?
A post?, ugly. Maybe SUC could have a moderated 'warehouse'?Wot to do?
PS: Might have over-trained a bit, but bugger it, off it goes.
I am some sort of artist, certainly a craftsman, with a wide streak of pragmatism in order to keep beer in the fridge. Some of my work is really good, and some is pragmatic and good enough.
Bottom line for me is has to be solid and safe, IE: well made. SU has been a huge help in this. I approach each job with art foremost in mind, followed quickly by reality and then quickly adapt to the budget, and then hopefully think art again.
And I give a lifetime guarantee on all my work. (Yours or mine). -

My two cents. The awning in the illustration looks too low. Barring other considerations. I'd make it higher. People going up and down steps do not walk in a smooth line--depending on their gait, their head height varies. Take it from someone who has knocked himself on a low beam in hurrying up a step...I wasn't knocked senseless but who's to say?

My design was too low so I tested it empirically as mentioned previously. Three months now and no problem.
In Wales, I lived in a pub where I had to duck every step and a half to avoid the joists.
