I know the Google feature within SketchUp is gone. OK. We know that...

Does anyone know if it is possible to put any type of model inside "Google Earth Pro"?

        Yes.
Use SketchUp's Add Location to geo-locate your project.
Save your building (delete all other data) and export it to KMZ.
In GE Pro go to File/Import and change the file extension to All Files (.)
        Find your file and import.

This is a quick shape I placed in my backyard just now to test.

Someone else may have more insight but I think this will only display on your copy of GE Pro. It won't upload to GE for all to see.

I have used this several times recently to do a quick display of a project on site.

It looks like you have other Google 3d data displayed. I don't have that on my GEPro. How do you get that?

Turn your Sidebar on (ctrl+alt+b) or (View/Sidebar)and turn on 3D buildings in the layers palette.

That is from a show called Dexter. He is a blood spatter forensic expert for the Miami police department. Oh, and he is also a serial killer.
