      Hello.

I've tried multiple times to create a simple shape using "follow me" in both 2017pro and 2018make, and it comes out bizarre every time. I'm only trying to create a shape like a paper cup, ie a circle with a larger circle directly above, certainly nothing I've ever had an issue with before.

First off there is no 2018 Make.
Second you are doing the process in reverse. Click the circle, grab the Follow Me tool, then click the quad shape.

If you click the quad shape first then the circle you will end up with the shape you posted here.

I guess that's why it's called follow-me. You first establish who "me" is then ask the other shape to follow. : )
