      Hi Guys,

Been practicing with sketchup a few years now, and I believe this is my first post here on this forum.
I've been having troubles with the decals I got from http://www.textures.com, when I place them on a flat face, and turn of the cast and receive shadows, I stil got the shadows. (see files below). Also the whole texture of the decal is different.

I've read https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=27198 but I still don't get it. Can anybody explain to me in plain English how to proceed ?
