Problems after changing drawing axis
-
I have a recurring issue perhaps someone can shed some light on
the project I'm modeling has a wing of the residence spun off at approx 63.4° to everything else. I change the drawing axis to match when I'm modeling objects in this wing to facilitate. But my objects behave strangely when drawn - they're difficult to select, to snap to, to drag a construction line from etc etc. Its like everything is created ever so slightly skewed from this odd angle axis. This has been a recurring issue, so I have become extremely careful about pulling construction guides and using the arrow keys to lock tools to a plane. And yet, I continue to have this issue. I keep trying different approaches to the objects I'm modeling, but it continues to happen as I get into the details of the modeled objects. Any way to keep SU on the "straight and narrow", so to speak?
The model is at close to 70 megs, so here's a DB link if anyone is inclined to take a look.
Thanks!
Bob

I tried and it is ok.
How do you set Axes? Right click on Axes-Place? Have you tried Layer-Color By Axes to see if everything is properly aligned? -
I use the axis tool and align it with a wall corner on the plan. So, on the cabinet wall, I can take the tape measure tool and search for a corner of a cabinet door for a reference point from which to measure and it doesn't find a corner to reference. You didn't encounter this? Are you on a PC or Mac? I'm on a Mac
Thank you!
