Idea for a plugin for woodworkers if not already thought up
-
I have an idea unless it has already been designed.
instead of using the follow me tool, you create a data base for mouldings.
And when you want to wrap a room with base, door openings for casing, panels with mouldings, etc, all you have to do is draw the lines you want the mouldings to follow. Then it triggers your moulding library with what moulding you want to use, and on the moulding you mark where you want it to " follow". Is there already a plugin for this.
currently I have to make the unit I want to wrap with mouldings a component, draw the profile of the moulding, place it where I want to start using the follow me tool, and wrap where I want to wrap. i just think it may be easier to access a plugin where all I have to do is create the path I want, and click on the profile I want, and on the profile indicate where i want the moulding to follow the line.

Have you looked at S D Smith's Profile Builder 2? You can build your own library of profiles and then all you have to do is select the path you want to apply the profile to.

You mean Dale Maartens "Whaat's" Profile builder 2?
