      Morning guys
I have imported a model from Autocad and there are lots of extra lines on the graphic. I know I can use soften edges but you have to go into each group to do that and on a big model it can be time consuming
Is there a way to globally change the soften edge or any other wat to just show the edges of the graphic ?

Are these edges coplanar? If so, you probably don't want to soften them. You want to get rid of them. The exact process is impossible to tell since you've given so little information. A sample SKP file would go a long way to getting you exact help. It might be that ThomThom's CleanUp3 would do the job.

This is a picture of what im on about all the lines on the tubes and SHSs. The only way i know to sort this is to soften the edges. problem with that is you have to drill down on all of the groups utill you can change them.

does anyone know of a way to glbally change them?

            cheers

It looks like many of the tubes are identical. This process would be easier if you'd used components. Or, if you'd softened them as you went

No need to enter each group, select them all and proceed soften.

Select and use the soften/smooth edges window

Regarding Dave's comment. I wonder if using selection tools will identify identical groups and allow you to make them into instances of the same component.
