I'm always recolouring 2D FaceMe people in scenes and have this color collection to help get good skin colors. Here's a free material library with 144 SketchUp colors of various skin tones.

Don't remember how make that in SU!
Make these 2 surfaces with keeping their color from an image png with a transparent Background ?
SKM tool (Image trimer) by Tig make something but not apply each color on each surface!
(because there is only one texture of 2 colors)
So maybe a plug can make a separated thing ? Surface(s) + Color(s)
