I separated faces of a lobby floor from a ramp using the line tool. But even though the faces are not adjacent to each other, they are acting as though they're connected. I don't know why this is happening. This never happened to me before. Anyone know why this would happen? I want to put the carpet back at the top of the ramp without it surrounding on the outside.

Nevermind I solved it. The ramp entrance level was not 100% flat with the rest of the floor. I used the push/pull tool to make sure all the surfaces was perfectly on the same level and it worked.
