Dear Sketchup Team.
-
I would like to make a few simple points from my viewpoint and experience with the program.
I feel that you are changing things from one version to the next without rhyme or reason, and example is the manner of importing libraries. You not only change these things but you fail to give decent information although it might be possible to find these things with a long search on your forums. I for one do not intend to join multiple fori because it is not necessary or should not be.
Communication should be more in evidence from the developers to the users, this would enhance the relationship and might actually make it easier to give direction to development. Nothing should be done in isolation because this leads to the formation of vacuums in potential.
I am sorry if I am offending the development team or users, it is not my intent, I am just heartily sick of finding stuff changes without what I see as direction and having to learn new things without some form of education and information, freely and easily available.
Do yourselves a favour team, TALK TO US..........
I was not going to add this but what the heck, go to the contact us option and everything, EVERYTHING, is linked to buy buy buy. No option to discuss issues with the program or the development of it. Fix this too please.

Official SKP Forums:
In all of my interactions with development team through forums, face to face at Basecamp, or via email / trouble shooting the team has been very responsive (this has been since the shift to Trimble).
What are you having to 'relearn' with each release?
-
additional libraries, materials and components. I also find the additional reference points when drawing to be a thorough nuisance rather than helping. I agree these seem to be minor points but like many, I cannot get to base camp. There should be a simpler way to communicate rather than every single bleepin' contact us be linked to sales, in my opinion at least.

I have to agree with this statement. I feel like the "improvements" to the inference engine over the last two releases have done nothing but make the modeling process more cumbersome and confusing.

I agree with both you and Trimble in this regard.
More inferences are very useful but things need to be fine tuned to a point that they work flawlessly.
I'll add that some of these inferences are, in fact, only visual cues. Those are, imho, useless.
