SU2017 odities & update?

I just got my 2017 set up a few days now. However, I get all kinds of oddities. The Mirror plugin does not work properly. It does not inference and lock on the axes for the mirror line (XYZ axes) as it does in 2016. Also I have a problem with my Profile Builder 2 plugin. If I stamp a profile from PB2, rotation through the move tool is only available through X/Y but not around the Z axis. If I explode the profile, and regroup, Z axis rotate becomes available.
Today when I started SU I get a notice for a 2017 maintenance release. dose installing this release mean I have to redo all my toolbars etc., that I just finished setting up?!

Did you install fresh copies of the various plugins and extensions or did you copy them from a previous install? If you did the latter, you shouldn't have. Install fresh copies.
Maintenance releases don't overwrite things like toolbar locations so don't worry about installing the new release of 2017. Just do it.
Major version releases install as a separate program so you have to set up toolbars and such almost as if you never installed SketchUp before.
