SketchUp 2017 - Warning Dynamic Components

The installation of SketchUp 2017 no longer allows the use of dynamic components on older versions of SketchUp.

We have the following error message:

To resolve the issue, you must update the Dynamic Component Extension HERE.

Yes. This has been covered numerous times since the release of SketchUp 2017. The change to Chromium for handling web dialogs in SU2017 impacts earlier versions of SketchUp, too, so the SU extensions that depend on web dialogs need to be upgraded in the older version of SU. You should get an indication that there's a newer version of the SU extensions when you log into the Extension Warehouse.

The SketchUp 2017 installation should automatically update the "Dynamic Components" plugin,
in all versions of Sketchup installed on the computer.

This would avoid this kind of very unpleasant message.
