Nordic Scene

A Nordic Scene all the models were sourced from the warehouse:

Holy smoke. That's wonderful, and VERY Nordic! You get the trees from warehouse too? Thea? Scatter? Rok stone.
-
Very nice work. I like the mood.
-
This is such an impressive and credible scene work
a cold nordic winter perfect staged - the light - the bare birches with frozen branches even - almost I hear a crow croak(?)like Pbacot I would also ask about how did you get these perfect trees done?
-
Chedda, You are making better stuff with each post!

Thanks for the comments guys. This image was a quick test for the HDRI my friend made in Norway.I didn't spend a long time at all on this. I used a 1km square plane sub divided it and then used erode plugin. Then i used skatter to distribute the Maxwell proxies. I found the links from the warehouse:

We can notice it's not highly detailed and pretty simple to setup. That's what's cool about it. You've created great mood with a simple scene and that's sometimes not achieved with scenes which have intense work.
Keep it up!
-
Add my upvote for this moody render.
This looks like a scene that could have come from where I live β with our white and frigid winters.
-
Hah hah! Once again you try to fool us with a photo!
-
Yeah it's nuts, took an hour max to make the scene only using 3 objects. Ahh i forgot to mention the light volumetric fog i think that added a lot to the image. Thanks for the comments again.
-
Stunning mate! 3 objects only, thats freakin awesome!
-
Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah 3 downloaded objects is nuts for the effect achieved. Just goes to show its not always complexity that delivers results. Although i have been working on another scene for almost a month now
-
To my eye this is perfect, nicely atmospheric while not overly complex. Well done.
-
Thanks Mike.
