Problem scaling layout drawing

I'm running SU Pro8 on Mac. I sent a SU scene to Layout, resized the sheet to 11x17, went to style box to change scale to 1/4", made selection, all successfully. But when I try to grab the blue outline box to scale drawing to fit the paper size, the drag grips don't catch and then blue outline box starts disappearing from the corner I tried to grab. Very weird / any suggestions out there? / thanks

I've not seen that sort of thing before. It has been a very long time since I used LO3, though. Perhaps you could upload the LayOut file and we can take a look to see if we can figure it out.
