Is it just me or are there more people experiencing problems logging into their SketchUp account from within SketchUp? Pro 2016 in my case.
I keep getting this message:
"Authentication Error !
Something went wrong during the authentication process. Please try signing in again."I tried Monday, Tuesday (yesterday), Wednesday (today). No go.
Any ideas?

Used to fail for me then I changed to 2 step verification with my Google ID and that never seems to fail. Whether it s linked or not I don't know.

I offten have this problem too and I've found that by quitting SU and deleting the file: C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\ and remove cookiejar.xml and session.dat (if they exist). then I log out from Google in my web browser and log in again and then start SU and try logging in.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes I have to do it several times for it to work.I must say their login solution feels less than professional.

Yeah, you know about it.
I logged a ticket with Trimble and they responded within a few minutes saying that their engineers are attending to the problem, thanking me for my patience. Seems like it is a known problem...

I've never had this issue...
Yesterday I got a warning that the system couldn't log into the Mekdeek server, but that's related to the Medeek Truss plugin and I assume that it was a local issue...

thanks for the feedback above, will first see what SketchUp support comes back with
my patience is starting to run thin with them since I've had one e-mail, wanting to know if the problem has resolved itself, what is is exactly and suggesting a hangout call (denied, I'd rather have written feedback, easier for me trace for future reference), since their automated message after lodging the ticket.
I have not been able to sign in through SketchUp for more than a week now. I got this message this morning:
invalid_request
Invalid authorization requestapplication=login.sketchup.com -
normally the signing in wouldn't bother me much, but I bought a Extension Warehouse product, which cannot be downloaded and installed and instead uses the SketchUp built-in EW method. Clearly not my favorite solution to installing extensions...

This has been hanging with Trimble / SketchUp for almost 9 days now.
Anybody here know anyone over at Trimble / SketchUp? Please get them to put a cracker under the chair of the assigned engineer to ticket: #INC-1322 trouble signing into SketchUp account.

Well, it seems the problem has now somehow resolved itself, without any input.

No, it's still STUPID. 6 times trying and it finally let me in. I needed to log into a google account via web page and then back out of the Trimble login, tried to login again, failed, repeat 4 more times and on the last time, w/o entering anything, it knew who I was and let me in.
Go figure.

Which is 1 reason I stay away from Extension Warehouse as much as possible. Unreliable.

True, but lately some extensions (paid versions) won't allow you to download directly, you have to access the extension through the SU built-in EW link.

+1 All kinds of issues signing in. Sometimes it works, sometimes no...

Even after deleting the file as Pixero suggested.Solution - open IE (I use Chrome by default) and log into Extension Warehouse there, then open SU, go to Extension Warehouse, then I can log in again and it worked.
