Baby Steps for LibFredo6
-
Hi,
I've been working for 2 hours trying to accomplish the most basic of things:I downloaded Fredo's joint push pull plugin. I get a message that says I need to install LibFredo6.9 or newer and I do that. I access the downloaded .rbz file but when I try to open it I get a 'does not appear to be a SketchUp file' warning every time.
I KNOW it's not a SketchUp file! I just cannot seem to figure out how to get the thing to install so I can use it.
ANY help is greatly appreciated!!

LibFredo installs like any other extension. If you've downloaded it to your computer, open SketchUp, go to Window>Preferences>Extensions and click Install Extension... Navigate to where you saved the RBZ file, select it and click Open. Click Yes, etc. After that, LibFredo should be installed and Joint Push/Pull should work fine.
You should install the Sketchucation Store (under Resources at the top of this page) and let it install extensions for you automatically.

D'oh! I was running a serious brain cramp last night and totally blocked out the Window>Preferences>Extensions and click Install Extension... process! THANK YOU, THANK YOU Dave R for bailing me out... again!
Now I have two tasks for this morning:
-
Install the SketchUcation Store
-
Apply for a job inspecting mirrors BWAHAHAHAHA

Happy that got you straightened out.
