      I am learning using blender, Δ± watch a tutorial about modeling dice and i model it.. Then i decide to draw a whole backgammon with sketchup, here is the resault.. Rendered with vray..

          Thank you.. Yes i made the shadow with photoshop, by filling the shape with black and move it..

                    Hi,

                    After reading your post I remembered for some time I wanted to model and render a real ornate backgammon board with pearl and brass/gold wire inlays. (I am too lazy to do that and I eventually purchased one as in the image.)

                    Now how would one model and obtain a super realistic render of something like this within a reasonable time and effort?

                      Thank you for your kind words.. I have plenty of free time and like modeling.. πŸ˜„ It took five hours to model this and render by looking a reference picture.. I share this vray setting on my youtube page as vray studio render..
