Very cool prog and free for Sketchup!
to be exact, the limited Viz version is free for non-commercial use only.

Of course!

I really enjoy LRT, not as feature filled as Lumion but nicely integrated and very stable. Unfortunately it seems like support and updates have stalled, ever since Bentley bought E-on I have not seen or heard any activity on both Vue or LumenRT.

In their forum they say that they are aiming at a 3:rd quarter release of 2016 version.

Thanks again for all the replies.

It's all I use for animation and rendering. Probably the most amazing feature on LumenRT is sharing Live Cubes. They are self executable so the end user needs no special software. I issue them to the contractors with every plan set. We do Live Cubes for both Architectural and Structural and it really helps in the field.
The other aspect that is pretty amazing, is speed. My large site files in SU (80mb) will export to LumenRT directly out of sketchup in about 2-3 minutes. From there I can export animation at 1080P at 1 frame/ 1.5 second. I can also export high res renderings in about 3-5 seconds.
Solo, they are working hard on the next version with apparently many upgrades! The whole team is still there.

Would be nice if they turn up at basecamp with a sneak peak.

Sonder,
This is the direction I want to go.Are you working with the "Studio" version of LumenRT with publisher? I noticed your work featured in some of E-on Software's videos. Kudos! What hardware do you use to achieve your results?

I have the full GeoDesign package with publisher.
My son built me my computer - It has 32 Gb ram, i7 67XX (not sure), GTX980ti, 500Gb SSD
We're getting the new GTX1080 next month. The Video card is the most important component. The new 1080 is around $600. I think it should be great for rendering with twice the speed of my GTX980ti.
Solo, I don't think they are going to basecamp, but I'll check.

Well, What a bummer. As I was just ready to purchase the Studio version and noticed that Bentley has changed the "bundling" and eliminated the free version all together.
Any idea of how much for a package or have they gone subscription based?
