Campaign season
-
With the U.S. Presidential campaign underway, it seemed like the ideal time to model a piece of campaign furniture. This is a campaign chest from the British Colonial era in India, circa 1880. It consists of a base and two separate cases, all made in teak. The sides of the cases were cut from a single plank.
Vote early and often.

Very nice, David.
It's amazing how much of that furniture survived with the kind of traveling it must have seen.

Thanks, Dave.
I've always thought it must have been nice to have servants and bearers for an expedition.
