How to add rendered thumbnail to Sketchup Warehouse Gallery?
-
When viewing the Sketchup Warehouse I sometimes see thumbnails that have a rendered image.
How can I take a .jpg of a rendered product and use that as the thumbnail in my warehouse gallery?

Hi
what you see there is not a thumbnail, it is a added rendered image of the model, which is placed
to the models geometry as shown below. Than you just have to fix a front view scene for example or any other view as desired and save it this way before uploading it to the 3D warehouse...Remark: when you have placed your render image in your model, right click it, choose "explode" and then "group" it again. So the image becomes a regular Skup-geometry. If this step is not done, the 3D-Warehouse can not show (or recognize) the image...

Hi

I think I am going to make a Youtube walk through once I figure out how to perfect the image.
Thanks @HornOxx for the help!
