Is Sketchup 8 being phased out ? The reason I ask is that Kerkythea and Twilight are now only working with Version 2016. Plus, the fact that those plugins don't exist for Sketchup 8. And, I notice that (with Google's greed) Version 2016 costs $700. garystan -

Where the heck do you get your false information, garystan? SketchUp 8 was "phased out" years ago. There's now been four versions of SketchUp since SketchUp 8. At least Kerkythea and the SU2KT extension would still work with SketchUp 8, though. As Unearthed mentioned, Trimble owns SketchUp and has done for a few years. And there is still a free version of SketchUp even with SketchUp 2016. It is called SketchUp Make.
