Styles > Edit > Color > "All same" won't keep its settings
-
Hi there! I am new to your forum and I am using Sketchup 2016 Pro and had this exact problem with 2015 Pro version. The problem is when I add color to a grouped object the black edge outline disappears making the detail difficult to see. I have spent over half a day total trying to resolve this. The black lines show up fine when the "All same" is selected. I then save the Style and it still retains the black edge and looks fine. If I wait for the Autosave feature to save the room or if I select it manually, the Color reverts back to "By material" every time and the edges disappear again. Do you have any idea how I could fix this?
Thank you!! -
Could you share an example file that does this?

You could try the one in this thread Dave.

Didn't realize it was the same file. I thought we'd been through this.
If it isn't solved, I'd suggest there's either a problem with the save location of maybe something corrupt in the installation and reinstalling SketchUp might be the key.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately that thread is from me from last week too
I couldn't get the 2015 program to work even after trying everyones suggestions. I finally got the 2016 Pro and it worked fine for 3 days and then started doing the same thing. I'm sure its just a simple setting or button that has been activated in error but I can't find it...
