Folks, I've been using SUp 5 on a shaky XP machine for a long time,

I now have a nice computer setup, and Win 7. I'm having a few issues with the Ver 5 I just installed.

Which version of SUp should I get now? I found where I can download most all of the versions from Ver 5 thru 2016.

      Which would you suggest??

As DaveR suggested already - you should download 2016.

hmm, I think there is no reason or need to limit yourself to just one SkUp.

Besides SU 2013 Pro, which is my main SU, I privately run SU2015 and SU8.
SU8 I installed as an English version just to get used to the English terms of the discussions here in the forum topics. SU2015 I installed to be able to run Thomthom´s SubD for example.
No matter which older version you prefer, install newer versions in addition. These will give you opportunities which you're going to like for sure...

Why not SU 2016? I mean it is the latest, most stable and fastest version to date, compatible with all new plugins and integrated render engines.

I'm hoping to stay as near to Ver 5 as I can so I don't need to re learn where everything is, and I don't do rendering, use plugins or build very complex models.

Baz why do you recommend ver 8??

This won't be very different with 8 or 2016. For me personally, the expanded inference system of 2016 would be enough reason to switch to this version.

2016 is slighty different, 2015 is more traditionnal from the old versions! 😄
