Lock circle tool on a specific plane.
-
Hi all
Can anyone tell me how to hold the circle tool on a specific plane.
It used to be hold the shift key on a specific plane and that would keep it locked on that plane so you could then transfer that to another point. In 2016 it seems to have changed.
Thanks in advance.

Shift still works to lock the orientation to the desired plane as before but now you'll get an indication in magenta showing the plane you've locked to. You can also use the cursor keys to lock the orientation. UP for blue, right for red, left for green and down arrow will lock the orientation to an angled face is the cursor is on that face when you press the key.
