I wanted to see if I could design a modern home in a wooded setting that would have a rustic logy feel to it and still have a unique shape. Don't know if such a home would be doable in a such a setting but I thought I would try.

Impressive work. I like the day scenes. The night scenes are dramatic but I want to see more light on things--though the orientation of the day shots do not show off as much as the pool night pictures. How about an aerial that would show more of the concept at once? I would like to design more spaces integrating inside and outside like this.

I am wondering about the clearance of roots for that tree that appears too close to the pool, a part of the wall in fact. Is that enough clearance?

              Nice building and renders.

Thank you Mike for liking the design.

About the trees, You know I don't think it would work in reality unless the roots could be contained some kind of way. I just thought it would look more interesting to try to integrate the trees into the design close to the structure some kind of way.

The overall design is far from finished.

                Thanks Again

Thanks pbacot, I do appreciate it. I tend to do to many night scenes because i like the drama lighting up the structure can bring and I have a lot fun adding the lights. 😄

I will try to get some more aerial shots once I have some free time to get into it. The rendering part is something I am just starting to get more serious about, I am not good at it, the program does most of the hard work. I am looking at others renders and video to get better.

I have a lot of fun when coming up with the initial concept drawing, usually something scribbled roughly and then refined and tuned to get to a point I can scan it to the computer to get inside sketchup and then just go crazy on it haha!

                  Thanks again
