I would like to see a tool that lets you scale the selected object much in the same way the "resize model" works but on an object level.

The first click should be the scaling pivot and the second will define a length.
The user should then type in the desired length and the object would rescale to that length from the pivot point.

Just checking, you do know you can input exact lengths etc with the normal scale tool?

Yes, but it won't use a custom pivot.

Thomthom's RotaScale is my weapon of choice.

Interesting to hear of another plugin, but if I want to do that I do it within a group, works the same as resize model. Am I missing the intent here?

I didn't know one could do that. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
                Thanks.
Still, I think a plugin to do it without opening groups would be very useful.

This is why I said, just checking, there are people here who've been using SU for years who haven't grasped that dos has been somewhat simplified by windows.
