I have seen there is a Luxcore standalone version but seems a true mess (line command etc)
It's an easy render inside Blender ? (Blender being also a true mess)
-
Luxcore is the new version of luxrender.
it is complicated as it is a PBR renderer, you have to learn all the stuff that goes with it.
More render parameters than in Cycles (Blender) to deal with but there are some tutorials on the web, and in French (by Francois Grassard for example).Blender is not a mess, it is complicated.

A concept of magic wand for an evil character, Sveta. A kind of Rasputine but more in the Dolores Umbridge (Harry Potter) way.
The bracelets are 3dscans of a Gabon's viper.
Made with mostly Sketchup ans a little of Zbrush.

C'est entre autres un Master de Moi3D!@unknownuser said:
a robotic bust base that was first modeled in Moi3D and then was quickly detailed in Zbrush using Alphas in various combinations.
(click this link for show the video - they are 4 videos of MOi3D)
Je suis totalement d'accord avec lui!
@unknownuser said:
Non-Subd Modeling (Moi3D) is perfect for concept-designing realistic machinery-like style of robots, props and vehicles as it allows to take maximum advantage out of sharpness of edges without introducing supporting edge-loops that are necessary for quad-based Subdivision Modeling. This results in lighter final meshes, quicker renders and therefore creates more room to push the overall level of complexity.

Top notch as always.
