How to block Vray loading?

Long time ago it was possible to rename vray.rb file extention in order to prevent vray from loading. Is there any similar simple hack like this now?

Sketchucation Plugin Store have tools for disable plugins and create sets based on your needs.

Doh! I realized I can simply freeze vray via Preferences-> Extensions.
