Thanks, I render the model pretty regularly to spot any flaws in the groups as I go, it makes it easier to spot problems like the way extrusion tools and curviloft can produce, for want of a better description 'but cheeks' when lofting/extruding certain arcs. Still not entirely certain about the black chrome feature but I can see how that goes as I do more. This car is exactly eleven feet long and five feet wide, including the wheelarch 'spats'.

              Progressing nicely Mike!

Keep at it! I know from experience what a challenge it is to design and build a vehicle. I gave up after a few tries, just couldn't seem to get what was rattling around in my head to look right on the screen.

I do remember how I solved getting the engine to fit... 😆

Thanks Steve, the engine is an upgrade from goldfish 1.5 although a gas and air assisted unit called girlfriend 1.7 and wife 4.0 were both considered the repercussion's of broken jaw 0.9 and sore behind 1.2 not to mention earache 7.5 made this a non starter.

Mike, Fantastic job so far ! Looking forward to the finished model. One question, are you planning to put a good looking blonde behind the wheel ?

Thanks. I was thinking more of a brunette, more to my style. Not that I have anything against a blonde at all. Not at the moment anyway, sadly.

Interior beta 1.1. The handbrake has been replaced with an electronic version but the button will be made smaller. There is a multi function tool on the tunnel for selecting diff settings etc via a small flat screen. The airvents do not show well at the angle in this view but I will try to improve this as I move along.

A few changes, this render with the 'roof' on.

A quick diversion with a subtle ( I hope ) power bulge in bonnet.

A beta of the windscreen wiper fairing. It starts with the same profile as the power bulge ends with.

Getting details added now and geometry is falling over left right and centre. The intersect tool SHOULD work more accurately and the additional facets etc that sketchup adds should be a thing of the past, but are not.

Starting to develop the chassis components now.

Thanks. It has been mind bending to come with the slow alteration of parts to refine them and create sub assemblies. Slow progress but at least, it is progress.
