Toolbars Not stacking 2015
-
Im having a weird time trying to get my toolbars arranged how I like on the side bar -
Problem A - Can't get a toolbar such as views to display in two column format
Problem B - Can't get another toolbar next to it in single line either
Just made a change to 2015 from 7 - is there a setting somewhere to 'enable' multi line vertical toolbars?
It displays in two columns when not part of the sidebar
Thank you

I believe that happens because the Drawing toolbar takes two spaces/columns. Try narrowing that to one space/column and then I think it will work.
If you still want to keep it that way, then customize the Views toolbar by inserting the Sections icons to it. http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/95452 -
Indeed Elisei is correct. Make two custom tool bars from the Large Toolset and you can put as many single column toolbars on the side as you wish.
BTW, this is not a bug so I moved your thread from the Bugs forum.

OK Thanks guys
I would argue its a UI bug as creating cutom toolbars is a bit of a workaround, but I'm not fussed.
Thanks for both your help

It may not work the way you'd like it to but it isn't a bug. It's the way the toolbar manager was designed to work. While it might be more convenient to be able to make multi-column toolbars, the benefits of this toolbar manager over the old one make this a very tiny inconvenience. The major benefit of this new toolbar manager is that it prevents the toolbar scramble that was prevalent in SU8 and before. Try making the SU8 window smaller and then drag it out larger again. Do that in SU2015. Big difference. You can also customize the native toolbars and make your own. I've omitted Dimensions and other text tools along with Pan and Orbit from mine giving me more real estate for other tools.
