Extension name

Hi,
I have just upgraded to Window 8.1 and have regretted it for the past three days after I had to reinstall everything. Anyway! I am missing a extension that I previously found very productive but can not find it as I dont know what it was called. It was a simple extension which you clicked on a line and it would create a parallel line which extended to its boundaries. I can not see it in the plugin store so assume it is in the warehouse somewhere.
Anyone have an idea of what I am talking about? -
Are you asking about the tape measure tool and the construction line creation?

This sounds a little like ThomThom's Edge Tools. That's if "extended to its boundaries" means the boundaries of the face. I always have that icon "Split faces into multiple pieces" in my basic toolbar.

"Shift+E" for me... probably more used than line itself.

pbacote understood perfectly what I was talking about, thank you. I have this set on a shortcut and use it so often I forget its not part of native SU. Thanks again for being my memory bank and thanks to ThomThom.
