        Looks really good! Cut from reality.

        Last time I used MeshLab was after a 3D scan of a cave.

            I doubt he cleaned it, he just used it for the guidelines.

                The scan was taken with 123dcatch. I used it for the guidlines. Then I used soap bubble skin to fill it and give the bubble. A fast and good way to get the right proportions, even if you don't have good blueprints.

                                      Impressive. The overhead structure is a nice addition. Particularly like the second to last one.

                                      Is it possible to create an ever-accumulating fog over distance within an object or object material? Perhaps through a series of planes? If it is possible, seems like a potential way to create the background fade present in your last image.

                                        I mixed the fog in PS. One layer is a flair, another one is a paint with a layerstyle "shining" and oppacity.
