Plugin Failure on 2014 upgrade

I am having major plugin issues with 2014. I have moved my previous plugins to the correct folder, but I am still getting and error message on startup that the plugins have failed to load. However, once I close the message window, some plugins work and some don't.
Also, the plugin manager fails to connect to the plugin store.
Any ideas?

a large majority of SU v8 plugins will fail on v2014, there are many post telling you NOT to do what you just did...
remove them all, then re-download the updated SCF plugin manager and only bring in others that are updated for v2014...
any you can't find updates for, bring in one at a time and test them...

That worked. Still had to go to the website as the manager connection was slow, but it worked.
