Random or Scatter Plugin?

Good morning everyone,
I am trying to place a pile of nails into a sketchup model.
Is there a plugin that can place a nail component into a random or scattered bunch?

jiminy-billy-bob has posted around he's been working on a scatter plugin... That might be the one you want, but I guess you'll have to wait a bit.

And what about SketchyPhysics ?
Just draw your bunch of a big vertical line of Nails above the subject and press the button!

Maybe change their density!

Here a quick nail emitter. You have to install SketchyPhysics before. Not a new thing but always funny. Pause Physics on the desired position an save the SketchUp file as a copy an you will get the pile of nail.

Experiment with indigo renderer (focal point, aperture).
Motion blur with copies and different transparency.

excellent! Isn't indigo capable of rendering su sections? would it render that scene with a section passing through it?
