While handling large models, lot of times I make something as a group, then due to huge scale of model, I forget where I placed that group. Is there any good way to avoid this situation besides making a component initially and naming it, to avoid getting into such situation? I feel this is a stupid question to ask but still I wanted to ask. 😳

No need to make it a component. You can also name the group and find it using the Outliner.

Another approach could be color-coding the layer of the group. Using a color-by-layer style you could visually find the 'special' group. Only useful if you use a limited amount of 'special' groups and or use a logical system for the colors.
