View area size

Hello all
I am building a sketchUp plugins and part of what the plugins need to do, is to export image of the view area to another program.
The problem is that I need it to export the picture in a specific size (or ratio).
To do so, I need to change the view area to that size/ratio before exporting.I done the same thing in autodesk-ecotect and there you can change the area view before exporting.
Please advice

A plugin already exists that can resize the viewport. Instead of reinventing the wheel, you could have the user run this.
