UK 3d printers

Looking to get a 3D model printed in time for Christmas. Anyone based in the UK have any experience on which companies are reliable and good value for money?
Just looking for some recommendations really on who to use.

I'm not based in UK, but I'd look into 3DHubs or MakeXYZ to find someone close to you. Shapeways may be another good option, they have an office in the Netherlands.

Price needs to come down quite a bit before I invest

Did you look at Budget machine. under $1000
What is your price range.
I think in my case, speaking for myself, my income need to increase. I find the Budget machine are high for me too. -dukejazz
