Hey! The pipe plugin is somewhat pointless just struck me now

Well, not so much if you need to draw pipes. It's pretty nice to be able to pick a path and call the plugin. But for extruding other shapes, yeah. I guess that's why it isn't called Other Shapes Along Path.

You could do the whole thing much more easily if you simply drew the final profile at the end of the helix rather than making the pipe and cutting it off.

It's available in the Extension Warehouse as well as the SCF Plugin Store. Look for 'Eneroth' or Julia Christina Eneroth. She's made quite a few cool plugins you might find useful.
