      Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me out with this as we are getting closer to the end of the semester and I am scrambling to put my project in order. I am new to vray (am using it for sketchup mac) and have been searching for a good Corten (rusted) steel texture that I can use in my renders. I found some good ones on vraymaterials.de but as many other forums have noted trying to use a .mat material for sketch up is a difficult task especially for a beginner (I've already wasted too much time trying to accomplish this). Is anyone able to point me towards something they know of or offer any advice? Otherwise I may just need to add this material in post-production which would be a huge time commitment.

      Thanks for any help,
      Brock

did you check the download section of the Chaos Group website? There are materials available for download there, as well as the V-Ray Express installer that will load your material library up with a hefty bunch of materials as well.
