I know this has quite a few flaws, but I was quite pleased with how my first commercial render came out. (Twilight v1.5.4)
I had quite a bit of help from the good people at the Twilight forum, especially the ever patient Fletch. To show you how much, I include my first attempt, (2nd image, the client made the material changes).
Of course, it's all about the light.

          Very nice.
Two very minor things I notice,
the view out the door looks too sloped. It could be absolutely correct but it feels to me like the backyard is on the side if a hill.
And the Marble texture is a bit big and repeats. It looks like faux painted marble and tends to grab your eye.

            Thanks Elisei,Box.
Had a devil of a time with the background, ended up just being happy it was illuminated.
And ditto the marble, this started as a photo of a slab in a yard.
BTW the client had me go thru 5 variation versions of materials, her comment on this one.."That's horrid!" She ended up settling for V2.

This is when Colimo is best used:

Twilight does export to Colimo right?

That soft looks great Solo, I couldn't justify it the moment, clients who are willing to pay for renders are rare. You never know tho, people are starting to demand at least 3D more and more.
(I don't know whether Twilight will export).

                  Nope - unfortunately not... 😐

I prefer the colours in the second and lighting in the first but the room is great.

Good render in the end, lighting is great πŸ‘ . Your first colour scheme is better but clients-huh, there's no accounting for taste.
