    How to Substract non solid object with solid object?

      Guys im new here, and sorry for my bad english.

      i would like to subtract the Ionic column and the box,
      so the box will have the carved of the ionic inside the box.

      but i cant do it wiht solid tools because its not a solid object.
      any help?

        Two options exist. Make the column a solid or use Intersect Faces and manually delete the part you don't want.
