Extracting 3D from GE

Anyone know of a way to grab the new 3D info from Google Earth? I have seen methods capturing the 3D from older versions using a DirectX ripper, but this method doesnt work in the new GE7 version.

I got some topo from GE for a little side thing a few years ago, it was useful but am not sure how accurate it was, it was the GE free version. I think that kind of info is probably best to get through GE pro (not 100% sure what it's called, but the paid version anyway).
